Description: This is the second book in the Blue Bear Racer series. Poppy and his two friends, Teppi and Tunis, continue their adventures in road racing. They make friends with Wodger on the way. Biography: Diane Batty is a resident in Isle of Man with her husband John and their family. She works at the local hospital but helps her husband to manage a small road racing team. She also commentates at the local racing circuit with Peter Mylchreest who illustrates the books. The Blue Bear Racing stories were first featured on their website www.johnbattyracing.co.uk a few years ago, as an interest for the children visiting the site. She has been writing as a hobby since she was 16 and this is her second published work. | |
