Art Without Stuff
Author: Alison Ann Michie
Description: During the coronavirus, Covid-19 pandemic, the World came to a stand still. During this time when children could not attend school Alison developed art projects for the children to do at home, using materials which were readily available. She dropped them off at the children's houses until a time when we could no longer do that. Alison then made little videos showing the children how to make art at home. Art without Stuff is a collection of those art projects. Biography: Alison was born in Scotland, studied art and education and travelled to work in a few different countries. After carrying around sketch books and books which were too heavy to carry in a rucksack, she settled to walking on the beaches with her dog in the Isle of Man. Alison loves purple and green and her favourite season is Autumn. While experiencing purple, green, beaches and autumn she once said out loud, “I’ve written a book.” She then had to do it because if you say it out loud, you have to do it! | |
